Two IFP Advisors Pass Series 65 Exam on the Same Day

AUSTIN, TEXAS – July 27, 2018 –On July 26, 2018, two Independent Financial Professionals (IFP) advisors, Lynn Kaloian and David Eck, took and passed the Series 65 exam to qualify as Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs).

Kaloian, of Monarch Financial Services in California, and Eck, of Oakstreet Financial in Washington, both joined IFP in 2017. Their initiative in taking an additional exam shows dedication to professional growth and knowledgeable service to clients.

The purpose of the Series 65 exam, also known as the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, is to assess understanding of topics related to providing investment advice to clients. Topics include  economics, ethics, investment vehicles, client profiles, portfolio strategies, fiduciary requirements, and more.

IFP provides advisors with encouragement, accountability, and resources for professional growth. Additional licenses and designations signal increasing knowledge, which benefits clients, advisors, and the whole team.
